How Metro Came to Be
The association that created Vancouver’s most unique apparel buying trade-show.
In 2012, the womenswear and menswear associations amalgamated and METRO was created. As of February 2012, the METRO, jsix and WAM markets all joined under one banner to create Vancouver’s largest apparel, multi-venue industry buying show, the METRO Show. This affiliation has linked agents and businesses representing all segments of the fashion apparel, footwear, giftware and sporting goods industry for ladies, men, children and youth.
Membership is available to Sales Representatives of:
-The fashion apparel, footwear, accessories, giftware, and sporting goods industry for women, men, and children.
-Related businesses such as retail solutions (retail software, retail business management companies, display & merchandising products, loss prevention).
